Judging from those pictures, Sleeping Beauty seems like a creepy/gratuitous movie.

^I haven't seen it, but it just seems like one of those movies with a lot of nudity and sex just for the shock and awe factor, but not because it's necessary to the plot.

But again, I haven't seen it, so I could be wrong.
Is it about prostitution or something?

Yeah, it's about prostitution. I think the nudity is necessary. If you read the Total Film interview that Mirik posted, I think she makes some interesting points.

I watched "Sleeping Beauty" yesterday, and now I understand why this movie left the judges of the Cannes film festival bewildered. It's impossibly pretentious. Not in a good way.

Shame about general consensus of the film. It seems like such an interesting concept and this should've been her breakthrough role.

The 22-year-old Sucker Punch actress and her beau got the chance to witness some of Nicole Farhi’s new designs!
Emily and Max were last seen out together in late June at the Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2012 menswear fashion show during Paris Fashion Week.
According to Moviefone, Emily’s film Sleeping Beauty has been given a US release date of October 28! The film was released in Australia in June, and will be making its way to the states thanks to IFC Films and Sundance Selects.

Love the outfit and the hair, but she looks so young! She looks like Max's little sister...I mean, looking young is not necessarily a bad thing (some people actually think its cute to look that young) it's just jarring sometimes. But I love the whole look. The shoes, too!
