No, I know what you mean, Iloveyoutoo. I don't know what it is though. The 5th picture is the only one I really like and represents VS. She's not giving it to the camera. But it's her first time, so maybe they'll get better. She looks uncomfortable. That's what it is.

i actually like these pics. she looks very natural and not trying too hard to be sexy. sometimes i wish Adriana could tone down a bit like this in some of her pics.

and what's up with maybelline? they are trying to make her look like an Adriana twin sister! i don't think they look-a-like without make up at all. it's beautiful by the way. i just think they should stop photoshoping her natural pretty face.

I really like her! I'm glad she's doing VS and Maybelline! Hopefully her commercials will pop up on my T.V soon.

I find it a bit odd that her and Adriana's new Maybelline shot were near identical.

^I explained why though! I think it was too late to pull Adriana's ads. They were using Adriana's when they had the launch of CS here in NY which was like in April or May, I think. Maybe they hadn't shot Emily's yet. Haha, I am really trying to figure this out. I just don't know why Maybelline would release two similar ads otherwise. I'm pretty sure Adriana shot them last year because in the video for the Maybelline calendar she did, I think they show her shooting for the brown CS version. Actually, in that video there is footage of Adriana shooting something else and she looks like Emily looked in one of the first behind the scenes pictures she had for Maybelline where she had that beige dress on. I'm not sure if it was for the Dream Matte Mousse or what (Maybe you guys know what product she was shooting for if it ever came out?). But their hair, make up, and clothing were very similar. And we know Emily wasn't in the last DMM commercial aka Adriana's last commercial.

IMO, I don't think it matters. It sucks that they ads are similar, but it's more work for Emily and I'm happy for her regardless.

I love emily but to me she doesn't photograph as well as she looks in motion..
I dunno but lots of her ads don't do her justice ESPECIALLY those vs shots.. to me she looks stunning in motion but her photographs [a lot of them not all] don't do her face justice

I blame VS photography. They have been really bad lately IMO. I was just looking at the shots of Edita V and Miranda, and they dont look that great either.

I would definitely blame it on the photography too since when you look at VS photos, they aren't great at times with their angles and (at times) awkward stiff poses.

I personally think that all Maybelline ads (like Covergirl ads) look the same, regardless of the model being used.

Yea and I like the fact that she's got this sweet look but can vamp out. Those Express photos are great and I a bit disappointed that Rugby doesn't have Emily (nor Hannah Davis) in their fall campaign.

I think Rugby is going for the not so pretty look now....I can't imagine dropping Emily D or Hannah Davis!
