I'm kinda on the WTF mode right now, cause when I first saw Emily weeks ago, and read she got a contract just like that with VS, and saw how she looks, I mean the logic question is "Do they want a new Adriana Lima, identical one?"

Cause it seems they're going for the SAME stuff, and they totally have same features, big light eyes, full lips.
And yeah Emily's and Adriana's face top all others, that is exquisite beauty, but these Maybelline ads are new, but they look old, cause I have to concetrate not to see Adriana on them, even the face position is the same.
That sucks.

Don't think you should compare Emily to Adriana, at first glance when you compare Emily's Maybelline ads to Adriana's they kinda of look similar, but that's not true, if you check photos of both of them without make up and not retouched, polas for example, you will see how very different they are.

When I first saw Emily my emediate reaction was "whoa, she looks like Lima".
The thing is, industry apparently really wants another big Lima-likeish diva star with exquisite beauty, and they hit jack-pot.
Cause Lima - Emily, really same type of beauty.The fullest lips and big eyes, really similar.Question: did Emily do some runaway yet?

PS.Those Maybelline ads to me are identicall as Lima's.

Guess what ? my reaction was exactly the same when I first saw her, but then I started to understand her face, it's like when you meet two twins they are 2 exact same copies for you, but after you see them many times you will start seeing what you couldn't see and realizing that actually they are a bit different from each other and not the exact copy. Same thing applies to this, after you understand Emily's face you will see how different she's from Adriana, I could say her lips are similar to hers but they're both different.

What industry ? VS industry ? Maybelline industry ?
From the fashion industry I don't see that much interest by now, although she just started, but by the path she's going, she will probably do more commercial work than fashion, but I'm excited to see what's coming.

I actually think she looks a lot more like Doutzen. They have very similar faces.

She is like Doutzen with Adriana's coloring. Definitely going to be huge.

wow most of those Maybelline shots are new to me thanks Lullaby! very lovely. They do look like Adriana's but Emily herself doesn't imo. I see more of Julie Ordon/milla jovovich (young)/and a little Doutzen. I don't think she looks like Adriana really. They look completely different nationalities and all.

Well when I first saw Emily's color sensational ads, it looked a lot similar to Adriana's so I had to double take to tell the difference. Now I can definitely see the differences but I agree that she also reminds me of Julie Ordon (but only in her Maybelline ads), Milla and Doutzen as well.

Glad she's doing VS! I agree. When I first saw her Color Sensational ad, I was like &quot;Why are they making her look like Adriana?&quot;, but the more you see the two, the more different they look. Plus, I think Adriana had left in the midst of the CS ads and they scrambled to replace them. Though I think Adriana's ads are still running.

She reminds me of Sarah Stephens sometimes, no wonder VS picked her up seeing how they used Sarah for PINK on last years runway. I think Emily would, for now, be better on the PINK line.
