We have a thread dedicated to Emina and if people want to know where she comes from or whatever about her, they shouldn't be refusing to ask those questions. That doesn't make them pirates, nationalists et.c. They're only curious. Period!

Well she is Serbian citizen since she and her parents lived in Montenegro and Montenegro belongs to Serbia (Crna Gora).

montenegro is not in serbia,montenegro is independent.and she is not serbian, she is from podgorica like marija vujovic (i am too from podgorica) and we are not serbs!

She actually went to my High School...It didn't click to me until I saw her interview on Allure's Backstage tv show...I put the pieces of the puzzle together when she said she met her husband while in high school, and went to school in Jersey. I looked at a yearbook and there she was. She looked different there, but still very pretty. I remember her being very tall, lol!

Hello everyone
While surfing for Emina’s photos I came at your forum. I’m not trying to sell you some nationalism horse sh… but in one of the pictures on page 15, underneath it, in German language they described Emina as a 20 years old Serbian ! Girl from Yugoslavia. So just to make it clear to everyone once and for all, because you all deserve it, actually she is American / Albanian because her parents, Albanians from Monte Negro (former YU), migrated in US long time before she was born. She was born in US and lived there until she became 4 years old. After that she, and her parents as well, came back to Monte Negro where she lived until she became 16. At 16 she went back to US again and she still lives and works there (NY).

P.S.
BlingBling, you said you speak Albanian, does this mean that you just know the language ore you are one, Albanian. If so, where from? Because i am an Albanian from Gjakova-Kosovo.

yup, she's gotta be doing something right, she's everywhere! (as Cut Copy said, especially in the ss06 interviews lol...)
its her walk that made me notice her at first too, but unfortunately in a bad way. especially when she opened Alexander McQueen rtw ss06, to me it looked like she was going to trip any second..
but its cool, she has the whole signature walk down pat, and hopefully it'll grow on me like Lily D's did ^^...

anyways, walk aside, i just recently became a fan...wanna thank everyone for posting all the wonderful pictures.
also thanks bit-of-respect and everyone else for clearing up her nationality. no drama~ i shamefully know really little about the region, so its great to hear about it. (oh the things you learn at TFS~ )
