Emma Stone

she's looking a little off... maybe she's just tired or something but the close up of her looks like she aged about 10 years.

I actually thinks she looks younger with the shorter hair, it's suits her very well :) I wonder whether it's her own decision or for a movie, both the haircut and the dye ?

A couple of images of Emma on set of the Woody Allen film

The hair and costuming looks so adorable! So excited for this movie, hopefully it turns out similar to Midnight in Paris compared to To Rome with Love

Awww she looks adorable in these vintagey costumes.

So glad she is working with Woody - I'll bet they hit it off. She has that kind of kooky, fun demeanour like Diane Keaton or Scarlett Johanson or Penelope Cruz; Woody seems to love that type of woman: one who's beautiful and intelligent but a bit zany too. ^_^

Woody is on my list of gross directors so I'm not that excited that she's working with him.

Her hair is lovely and is making me want to chop off my own.

I so agree with you about everything you wrote!
He is gross and highly overrated.

I think he has made some excellent films, and whatever happened in his personal life should have no bearing on that.

What legendary movie directors aren't creeps? Rhetorical question, I know there's a list that aren't, but also a majority of them are sketchy beyond the norm. She looks so sweet, love the hair in the candids and it is perfect for pulling off the retro movie styling.

Since Woody's work has come up in a few comments here, I'll point out that I started a thread called "The Films of Woody Allen" in the Entertainment section if anyone wants to comment further.

And finally just to add, as HeatherAnne correctly points out, many directors, including Roman Polanski, Elia Kazan and Woody Allen, have all been involved in personal scandals. As were people like, oh, Pablo Picasso! However, imo, to boycott or criticize their work based on their personal issues is to fall into the "ad hominem" trap.

The rest is best left for the Woody thread, I think. :flower:

SO LOVE Emma's red hair! But is it just me or does it look even "redder" in these film stills?

Totally! As an actress, I would love to work with him. I love what he does as a writer and director. That's why I'm really looking forward to seeing Emma in one of his movies. I think she'll be amazing in it, especially cause she improvises so well. Can't wait to see the result!

I think Emma is a good fit for a Woody film. It's nice too that after several big budget films, she's doing something smaller. The costuming looks excellent.

I absolutely LOVE that she's working with Woody Allen! Definitely one of my favorite directors! I think the movie will be great; Emma totally suits this kind of female lead the Woody always looks for.

And, again... That hair!!! :buzz:

Getting an insider’s view of London, England, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield hired a private sightseeing tour bus on Tuesday afternoon (August 27).

The “Social Network” stud, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday, and his “Easy A” gal stopped for lunch in the trendy SoHo district before catching a ride around the English capital city.

In her new interview with Fairlady magazine, Ms. Stone confessed that she puts more emphasis on humor than hotness.

"I would much rather be seen as funny than sexy. And I love watching comedies. When I was growing up, I fell in love with the old 'Saturday Night Live' shows and I was inspired by people like Steve Martin, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, and John Candy. They were real trailblazers for me."

Some newlyweds get big names like Mike Tyson and John Travolta to grace them with their presence on their special day. Others get dream couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield. Some people just have all the luck, eh?

This photo was posted to Reddit Monday with the caption "Girlfriend went to her cousins wedding in London, Andrew Garfield was the best man. Oh yeah, his girlfriend came too."

Since Spider-Man was sporting the same long hair, grown-out scruff combo in London just last week, we're fairly certain this wedding was a recent event.

Yeah, we think every other wedding pales in comparison, too.
