She's very beautiful and I think she looked great from the shoulders up last night. If her skin had been paler that shade of peach/coral would've looked gorgeous on her. Instead it sort of blended in with her skin .

And I agree with the Lindsay comparisons. I can really see it now with the blonde hair.

why do people freak out about her tan? it's not like it's her own choice, she had to bleach her hair ad get that tan for a role.
had this been her own choice fine, i get the lohan comparisons, but lohan always wanted to look like a skank.

I think people are freaking out about the tan and bleached hair not because it's for a role, but because it matched her dress and is really over done. she could have done that dress in another color and not had this many comments on the tan (and still look just as nice).

however, after a day, this look has grown on me and I think she was really one of the best and most memorable of the night. it was youthful, simple, and still kind of sexy which I like

The majority of you were loving Emma Stone’s style last night at the Golden Globes, and here’s the scoop on how you can get both the hair and makeup looks. For the makeup, Mark celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh was inspired by Emma’s structured Calvin Klein dress.

Start by dusting on Mark Pro Bronzing Powder in Pro Glow ($10) to the cheeks, forehead, and chin, followed by Good Glowing Blush in After Glo ($8) on the cheeks. For the eyes, use the following eye shadow shades ($5 each Biscotti on the inner lids, Gioia on the middle and outer lids from the lash lines to the creases (and smudged on the lower lash lines), and Java as an eyeliner. Top off with Lipclick Lipstick in Bare Hug ($10). As for the hair, Tresemmé celebrity stylist Mara Roszak chose a chic and elegant bun for Emma. See how to do it when you keep reading.

Mara started by applying Tresemmé’s Fresh Start No Frizz Créme ($5) to damp hair.
Next she blow-dried Emma’s hair, using a round brush to sweep the hair away from the face. She followed by teasing the hair, smoothing it with a comb, and placing it into a mid-height ponytail.
She then divided the pony in half, twisting the two halves around each other. She finished the style off by firmly holding the ends, wrapping the twisted hair into a bun, pinning to secure.

I don't think it's for Gwen Stacy. I definitely think someone from her team of stylists suggested it. I also think she that definitely got a new stylist or maybe now that she is more famous, brands like Balenciaga and Calvin Klein are willing to send clothes to her stylist.

As for the ribs, Emma has always been a very thin girl. Lindsay used to be curvacious. No comparison there.

but are they having a break from filming or does the fake tan only last for 2 days? i don't think she could just get a tan for an awards show and go right back to filming and then suddenly have a tan. they could maybe hide it with clothes and makeup, but that's a lot work. that's why i thought it was for the movie, but i don't know
i simply don't see it(Lohan similarity), maybe because i don't want to see it (i've always disliked lindsay)

^I like to think of Charlize Theron when she won the Oscar, she also had a strong tan. I think Emma does look a bit like Lindsay but to compare them, I just can´t do that lol

I thought she looked great, one of the best looks of the night for me. I loved the simplicity of the dress and how it showed off her great figure. I liked the updo and I thought the makeup was subtle and pretty. I prefer her as a redhead too, but I don't think the blond makes her look like Lindsay Lohan, that I just don't see.

The only correlation between Lindsay and Emma is they both had red hair and went blonde. Just because she overdid it on the spray tan for one night doesn't make her the hot mess Lohan is.

Emma's look at the GG's was sophisticated and chic. Something you can rarely say about Lindsay.
