^Well Hermione wasn't suppose to come off as an exceptionally pretty or sophisticated witch.. She's always been a book worm/tomboy.. I think the producers and all of the people that worked on the HP movies have done a fabulous job not only with Hermione but also with the rest of the characters... To be honest I'd find it a bit disconcerting if Hermione was anything other than what Emma has been portraying her as.. A glam Hermione? No way..

Only parts of the cast went/are going to different premieres/photocalls, etc. For instance, Matthew Lewis and the twins went to Poland, Tom Felton and some others are going to Japan. For some reason this year, they felt they had to do several things in various countries simultaneously.

^ also the trio are filming DH while the others don't start back till late August/September. I would have rather seen Emma and her outfits but we don't want filming to go over and the release dates moved so it's actually a smart move by WB.
