Emma Watson

That's not Alex. =/

Yes, it is. She mentions it in the interview:

"All the models are friends of mine: my housemate Sophie, my brother Alex."

The picture of her at the table with the strawberry on the fork is captioned with: "Emma and her model brother Alex". And the one with the red socks is captioned with "Emma with brother Alex (left) and friends Sophie and Tafari, who all took part in the English country garden shoot for People Tree."

I bet my life that it's not Alex. Daily Mail misprinted.

The dirty blond guy in the photo below is him:

That would make more sense because he looks so different from the Burberry ads. And because the other guy looks taller than Alex, who is only like 5'8? Although I would figure since she is the designer he would be featured more prominently in the campaign than one shot where you can't really see his face.

She looks much better when she's just trying to look like a normal person rather than high fashion and fierce. I think the blonde girl is her roommate from London (not the one from Brown).

Yes! I thought that's who she looked like - the roomate from London. She's a model from UK's next top model.

On her People Tree Line:

On how the line is about fashion, not her: “I didn’t want this collection to be all about me. This is not a celebrity endorsement, it is about creating something that is genuinely a great idea and about making a difference through fashion. I am very interested in fashion and I’ve been working a lot in the fashion world recently – it’s such an influential industry, so I knew that trying to help people, trying to alleviate poverty through a fashion line, could work. Fashion is a great way to empower people and give them skills; rather than give cash to charity you can help people by buying the clothes they make and supporting things they take pride in. It’s that simple.”

On the inspiration for the line: “I went through my summer wardrobe and thought, ‘If I filtered this so that it was just the very basics, what would I want to keep?’ The answer was cotton vests, easy T-shirt dresses, nice scarves to accessorize with and some lovely linen pieces. For the boys’ range I’ve done hoodies, which I know they’ll love. The clothes are very British, which is why we shot them in an English country garden – it’s all very strawberries and cream and tennis.”

On making the line a fair-trade fashion line: “The first time I heard about fair trade was during a geography coursework project, and I remember thinking, ‘Why isn’t everything fair trade?’ Everyone knows about fair-trade bananas and coffee, but of course anything can be fair trade. Fair-trade fashion costs a bit more but allows those who make it to earn a decent living; to be able to take care of their families and live with dignity.”

She so passionate and articulate, I love it. The campaign for this line makes me miss English summers so much.

I really want the cricket jumper!

^^Ahaha, even the article mistook that model for her brother:lol:.

I'm definitely going to give this a look. She seems so passionate about the line, and it looks like she was actually involved in the making of it, which is very rare for celebrity lines^_^.

WOW! That's actually really pathetic for "established" publications. How hard is it to Google a photo of Alex and compare him with Chris? Haha. You can easily tell them apart. I guess it's because there's really only one photo, at least that's been released, that has Alex in it; therefore, they assumed he was the one with her.

Who's the guy carrying her in the People Tree shoot? Is that her brother?

I talked about him on the previous page. People Tree's site wrongly listed him as Emma's brother, Alex, and as a result, all the articles/publications regarding Emma's collection printed this error as well. His name is Chris Belcher.

He's cute, heh. I had him confused with the guy in the Burberry ads with Emma, but then I read that they were all friends of Emma so...?

Emma seems so much more comfortable in the People Tree shoot than in the Burberry one. The Burberry one was a complete miss.
