My grandmother is usually rocking the knee-highs, sweatpants, and Penny Loafers.
You wouldn't catch her dead in a sundress, crop cardigan, and oxfords.

I think a lot of it has to do with her awful slouch and the where the shoes hit her ankle. They don't look great with that outfit.

But, you win some, you lose some. Can't have great style if you don't fall on your face here and there.
