Emma Watson

Yeah, the dress leaves a lot to be desired, but she looks beautiful nonetheless. The make-up is perfect and I like her heels, too.

Dress is rather frumpy, but her face and hair is FLAWLESS. Also, I totally agree about her looking very Rooney Mara.

Loved the Berardi dress, Emma looked stunning in it. The look from the New York screening is nice, really like her lilac colored nail polish, it's such a pretty color. And I really like how minimal Emma's makeup looks, she almost always looks great makeup wise for press events.

New project

Emma Watson Plots ‘Queen of the Tearling’ Franchise With ‘Harry Potter’ Producer (EXCLUSIVE)

Warner Bros. will distribute 'Game of Thrones'-esque franchise

Warner Bros., Emma Watson and her “Harry Potter” producer David Heyman are teaming up on another adaptation with Watson attached to star in “The Queen of the Tearling.”

The project is in development as a director and writer still need to be found. Warner Bros. acquired the rights to the book and will distribute.

Heyman will produce along with Jeff Clifford through Heyman’s Heyday Films banner. Watson will exec produce.

Book is part of Erika Johansen’s fantasy trilogy whose 19-year-old female lead was partly inspired by a speech the author heard Barack Obama give in 2007. Harper Collins will publish the trilogy, which has been described as a female “Game of Thrones” beginning in 2014. The book is set three centuries after an environmental catastrophe when a malevolent Red Queen holds considerable power.

Courtenay Valenti and Racheline Benveniste are overseeing for the studio.

Since her run as Hermione Granger ended, Watson has appeared in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and “The Bling Ring,” as well as in movies with more commercial appeal. She has biblical epic “Noah” bowing next spring, has a juicy part as herself in Sony’s “This Is the End” and is also attached to star in Guillermo del Toro’s “Beauty.”

She is repped by WME and Markham Froggatt Irwin. Johansen is repped by WME.

It's awesome to see that Emma's taking a role behind the camera too, first a bit with getting Perks made, and now this film. Sounds like an interesting project! Have to say it seems a bit surreal to me that books can now get film licensing deals before they are even published though (this probably isn't the first time this has happened either).

^Same here. It'll be exciting to see this even if she ends up only exec producing it as we'll be able to see what she feels strong enough for to sign on as an exec producer. Also excited for the Emma, Heyman and WB team up.

It would be cool if she just ended up producing the project. This would be her second producer role.
She worked as a producer for Perks of Being a Wallflower, but she didn't let them credit her.

But this sounds like an interesting project considering the books haven't even been released.
I hope she still does "Beauty" with Guillermo del Toro. If she doesn't sign on to an indie or something, hopefully that will be the next movie she starts filming.

Everything about this look is very Rooney Mara, even the way she's posing.

That was the first thing I thought when I saw the pictures.
It's definitely inspired by Rooney. I don't think Emma has a permanent stylist. She works with different ones for different events; so, maybe she worked with Rooney's stylist this time?

I wonder why she didn't let them credit her? From what I understand hardly anyone wanted to make the film but it was Emma and Logan's presence which helped give it a chance. And thank goodness for that, it was really good! Emma's made some really awesome feminist-y comments in the past (in general and about films) so it's cool to see that her actions reflect her words.

A full length picture. Dailymail.

^Ahh... very cool to see that the cover has actually been confirmed! It's always nice to see her on the cover of Teen Vogue.

She has Twitter? I can't imagine that! And I always imagined she's one of those people who'd always have all her apostrophes and capital letters in her writing :p

She's incredibly endearing and funny on twitter.

I like the sound of her new producing gig. Her TBR outfits were generally on point as well.
