Emma Watson

I am in love with her in the blue Vuitton dress! I didn't think she'd be able to pull off such pieces but here we are.

Looking back at her various pantsuit, this is a great direction. She's a bit fashion-forward with modern dressing touch. So I'm expecting more colors and combinations instead of princess-y gowns.

Happy that she's taking a new direction and not going down the princess route. But that LV is hideous. I really hope she goes for experimental looks that aren't awful in future

You have to hand it to Emma Watson—the 26-year-old has serious range when it comes to personal style. The Beauty and the Beast star has been promoting the live-action remake of the 1991 Disney animated classic in a myriad of designers, from Oscar de la Renta to Louis Vuitton. Indeed, Watson’s press junket wardrobe has run the gamut from ladylike to contemporary, though perhaps the common thread between them is the fact that at least one outfit is from a major French fashion house, a nod to the bookish heroine’s place of birth, no doubt. Now it seems that Watson is extending this same principle where her accessories are concerned by toting around Givenchy’s new Horizon bag.

Arriving to London from Paris via Eurostar earlier today (February 21), the British actress was dressed in the ultimate international travel look. Watson traded an oversize weekender in favor of a sleek rolling suitcase that complemented her compact cross-body bag—equal parts polished and practical. We also saw the structured style on Michelle Obama, though Watson managed to make the add-on all her own. She threw a motorcycle leather jacket over a knit body-skimming dress for a clever pairing that promised to look pulled-together even after a train ride. Lace-up paddock boots lent the ensemble an equestrian element that touched on her on-screen counterpart’s preferred mode of transportation. But the most Belle–worthy pieces of all were the book in her bag and a bouquet of red roses peeking out from underneath her arm.

I have my doubts.

I like her jacket:) Her travel outfits are always easy to like.

I really appreciate her eco efforts but she does know she's carrying a calfskin Givenchy Horizon Mini, right? As far as my research goes the bag doesn't get produced in faux leather and if it were custom made it would have been listed in the description.

I was hoping she was going to mention that it's faux-leather custom bag. But she didn't. I felt like it is such a step backward from the effort she has made.

I don't think it is a massive step backwards... It is great that she dedicates so much effort and time to finding more ethical solutions. Her PR and social media team will probably only improve over time. Right now, they are have only just started this new project.

(The next part is not directed at you:flower:)

Why is it that whenever someone tries to do something good, the "world community" need to call out everything their percieve as an error or flaw?

I pity the person who invents a cure for AIDS. He/she will get so much hate for not inventing a cure for cancer.

Because that's how we, as a society, push each other forward and get better. We acknowledge the accomplishments but also point out the flaws so that next time things improve even more. I don't see it as a negative thing to be honest.

^While I get your points and I have been a great fan of her, I find it contradictory when she can commission a custom LV dress made out of special fabric to advocate this cause, she did use a leather bag that is made by a big corporate. Obviously, I don't want to be negative but I do believe in what she's doing but she and her team also needs to be aware that once they go down this road, there will be more people who, while appreciate her intentions, feel let down by this kind of actions as well. I'm not critiquing her but when a celebrity is doing this type of action, they really need to commit it. Otherwise, it's going to be just a public stunt for me.

Well said. Ty.
