The camera always catches her when she's doing something stupid, like waving insanely with her nostrils flared.

And it's so funny how she changed her outfit whereas Katie didn't, and Katie still looks better than her!

I personally really disliked this outfit. She has to learn to wear heels, and not wear dresses that are too low-cut for her... not to mention too long for her. She looks stumpy... with a really long torso and short legs.

-sigh- I hope she does better at this year's premieres.

^ I doubt she is the one deciding to be a blonde. A lot about appearances is out of the control of the actors. Other people decide what Harry and Hermione's haircuts/colors will be for the movies.

Oh please she's like what 17? I'm not buying it that she doesn't b*tch about her hair and her clothes. She's mentioned several times in interviews that she's gotten the director to change her on-screen appearance. Pity she can't do something about herself off-screen.

She can b*tch all she wants about how she looks in movies. It doesn't matter if she's 17 or 27. What does her age have to do with it? Filmmakers don't give you a dress-and-look-however-you-like card as soon as you hit a certain age. Hell, Kirsten Dunst and other stars have complained about some things they have had to wear on film, and she's almost 25. Emma is limited as to how much control she has on her appearance in movies, that's all I'm saying. You can't attribute everything to Emma when it comes to films, especially when you're talking about studio movies (but I understand zealous HP fans often blame the actors for things seen in the movies; I've read how some fans blamed the actors for some segments from the books being left out of the movies...LOL).

That said, Emma should dump those awful black stockings she wears with the black shoes. They make her look stumpy.

I suppose she just really likes the flats then, eh? I've never been much of a fan of her style, execept for the fact that it's radically different then what I'm seeing where I'm at.
As for the movies, out of the Trio, I think the character Ron is the only one spot on bookwise. Both Daniel and Emma are way off in my opinion. While she probably does have a say in what she wears, the studio most likely has the final say. Transitioning from the 2nd to the 3rd movie, there was a big difference in the clothing. Less uniforms, more regular clothes.
I'm still undecided on the hair issue though...
The interesting thing about her style is that in candid photos of her, she usually looks pretty good. Her outfit at the U5 ball and that party that came out awhile ago. She looked good, but when she hits the red carpet, it doesn't work right. Although I do admit, I liked the pink outfit with black tights.

I also liked that pink outfit, for once she went with something a little more... normal. You know, half of the things she wears aren't even that bad if you take away the weird quirks she adds to them. Like the ribbon on the head thing.

Exactly, she usually picks good clothes that would look great by themselves. But when she puts them together, it seems like too much. She's such a pretty girl already, and I think simplicity works best for her. I can't really complain though, nothing's ever too skanky and if she likes wearing it, why not?
