I don't see what's wrong with her outfit, honestly. You guys are slating her way too much. Sure, I wouldn't wear that shirt... but it's not to say it's an ugly outfit. I think she looks perfectly fine.
Just because she doesn't dress high class or whatever you wanna call it all the time, doesn't mean she doesn't look good. Cos when you guys say things like that, I feel as though you're almost insulting me and many other girls on the boards cos she's dressing like a 'normal' girl.

So? We're not criticizing the outfit because she looks normal-- Ashley Olsen can wear a simple pair of Jil Sander sandals, a white tee, jeans, and a Chanel J12 (of which Emma owns the same model) and look normal and fabulous at the same time.

So, we're not criticizing the outfit because it looks normal, we're criticizing it because the shirt is just plain ugly.

Emma's worn some casual outfits that look normal and chic at the same time and some that look normal and atrocious. But we're not saying the normality of the outfit is what makes it ugly--it's the individual pieces and the way they're put together that make them look ugly.

I'm not saying all of you are doing it rudely, just some people are making seemingly unnecessary comments without any backup. Many of the things you're saying are fine and make complete sense, and that's not my problem.
Someone on the other page said something like, 'so this is how she dresses without a stylist?' And to me, that was a bit harsh. But, you've elaborated on why you don't like her outfit and that kind of criticism is fine, IMO.

I'm kind of failing to see why making comments like that are wrong in any way, I mean this isn't a fansite it's a place to discuss style and the various under-pinnings of it. The stylist comment seems like a pretty legitimate one to make on a forum like this.

The Flare pictures look great.. never thought I'd say that! She does look quite beautiful. But more importantly... that python bracelet in the flare page where she is sitting down... HOLY !!! That is BEAUTIFUL! Too bad it is vintage chanel and I will probably never have it sigh

the problem i have with her outfit is the pairing of weird length jeans with tennis shoes and the colourful shirt. I think some of her casual 'normal' outfits recently have been really nice, such as the one she wore shopping in paris; skinny jeans, a white tee shirt and a vest. Simple, but really cute, age-appropriate and chic. I think this is not one of Emma's best sartorial moments, but that is just my opinion.
