Emma Watson introduces her People Tree collection!

Emma is presenting the new People Tree Collection at Prince Charles' Garden Party.
This event has taken place on September 11th. Since Emma is back in Providence (USA) already to start with her second year at Brown University she couldn't attend personally and left a video message instead.



Emma Watson's collection of 100% organic and Fairtrade-certified gingham cotton day dresses and hand-embroidered cute separates was shown for the first time during People Tree's presentation at A Garden Party To Make A Difference and she sent Grazia this special message.

If I'm correct, she designed the S/S collection.. The collection out now (A/W) is just endorsed by her.. The clothes introduced at the Garden Party are a mix of her collection and the collection endorsed by her..

The description of the fashion show from People Tree magazine dated September 14:

The fashion show previewed the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection and gave an exclusive sneak peak at the Emma Watson youth range collaboration for Spring/Summer 2011.”

New People video of Emma's trip to Bangladesh. She's being interviewed by Safia Minney of People Tree. In the interview, Emma discusses how amazed she is by all the hard work that goes into making Fair Trade fashion. She also talks about her experience and her reaction to seeing the poor conditions a lot of the workers have to live in.

It's a really moving and touching interview and you can really tell Emma cares so much about this issue. It's a really brilliant interview and gives you an insight into what really goes into making just one item of Fair Trade clothing:



Emma also says in the interview that she designed the new Spring line, which I think is a good sign that she was more than just an "inspiration" for the line.

Also, there's a new rumor floating about that Emma has reportedly been cast in the new film, My Week With Marilyn. If this rumor is true, Emma will play Lucy, a wardrobe assistant working behind the scenes during the making of The Prince And The Showgirl. So far the cast includes Kenneth Branagh (as Olivier), Zoe Wanamaker, Michelle Williams, Dame Judi Dench, Dominic Cooper, and Eddie Redmayne.

There was an interview with George Craig last night in the ES magazine, where he said that he and Emma weren't together anymore at this moment in time, as the distance was an issue, and he was more a no strings attached kind of guy but "not you know, a sl*t."

Thought it was interesting. As she's never commented on the relationship I believe..
