Emma Watson

Emma Watson moves her man in to her dad’s gaff

THE "How to impress a bloke" classes at Hogwarts must have been pretty elementary, my dear Emma Watson.
If you want to impress a bloke, don't move him in with your parents in the early days of the relationship.

The actress and her American boyfriend Johnny Simmons are living on the top floor of her dad's North London gaff.

The Harry Potter star is shacked up with the actor in the posh attic rooms of the £2million home while he gets to know her family.

It's not quite a bedroom under the stairs but it's close.

A source said: "Things are getting pretty serious between Emma and Johnny so she wanted to take him back to London to meet her parents.

"They've been having a brilliant time together. Emma knows the city like the back of her hand so is a great person to show him around.

"They've done loads of tourist spots but she has also been taking him to a few flea markets and some great local pubs.

"They've been taking bikes or eco-cars to every tourist trap in the capital, including the London Eye, Big Ben and St Paul's Cathedral."

Surely she has taken him to Platform Nine-And-Three-Quarters at King's Cross Station?

But it might be a bit too early to take him up the Oxo Tower.

^ Yes, it looks quite amateur, like a fan-made video or something. She looks a bit awkward in some of the shots, like some of her facial expressions in the bookstore. But it will probably look better once it's been properly edited because it's way too long right now.

The ad could have been good, Emma is very cute and I like the purple atmosphere. Too bad the music is cheesy and the 'story' is commonplace.

But at least Emma is fabulous in it and the perfume smells great :woot: I was surprised to like it because I'm not a fan of the regular "Trésor", but I loved this one !

Is it out already? Cool. I didn't know! :)

Lol at the pictures of her bending over.
I swear Emma always ends up with at least one embarrassing candid picture.

Her little brother is adorable though.

I don't like the ad, but maybe the shorter version works better than this one.

^I like it as well. Very cute and comfy. I would wear it. :ninja:

I actually quite like the outfit. It's certainly an upgrade from her usual streetstyle . The sweater looks comfy over the dress. Nothing special, but she looks good.

The outfit is ghastly and completely inappropriate for a "business" lunch. Emma needs to put a lot more effort into her outfits if she is to keep up this image of "style-icon."

I feel like that ad was awkward and highlighted her VERY poor posture.

Well, she's not touting herself as some kind of "style icon." Magazines and press did that, ridiculously I might add.:innocent: Because even though she does wear nice clothes, she doesn't always look like she's wearing the clothes. It seems the other way around more often than not. Also there's really nothing spectacular (just cute, and lately not even that) about her candid outfits. But I actually don't hate this late one. I like the red sweater over the white. Also her hair is looking really good.

^ Well, to be fair, nobody really touts themselves as "style icons". Not even those who really are. I've never heard Sienna, Diane or Cate talk about how well they know fashion. They just take the compliments and move on with it. Emma, on the other hand, I just don't know how she got that title. She dresses pretty when she's on the red carpet (and not all the time) but other than that, her style is very bland. I've seen normal people on the street put more effort into what they wear than her. The title of style icon should really be stripped from her.

Her style is very trendy. And I hate it when trendy people are considered 'style icons'. I think the title of style icon should be stripped from a lot of celebrities, especially the ones who are clearly at the work of a stylist.

I think the commercial is cute, nothing ground breaking, but I like the little nod to Emma's love of reading and such with them first meeting in a bookstore. And she looks really lovely in this commercial too, so pretty.

Yeah, but it's her management who plants it in the magazine/press. The Elle Style Icon award? That's negotiated by a publicist. See Blake Lively's inclusion on Time's 100 Most Influential or J.Lo's Sexiest Woman Alive title.

Plus, she only ever talks about fashion and school in interviews. All her high profile non-HP projects were fashion-related (Burberry, People Tree, Alberta Ferretti). Her management developed her image to be 'the fashionable smart girl' with the projects they chose and the topics they publicize.

Meanwhile you've got Dakota Fanning, who also wears pretty clothes, attends NYU (this fall), appeared in a Marc Jacobs ad... yet this is not what her team chooses to emphasize so in the media (and to the public), she's just an actress.

From IHW, the first photo is from her interview with Time last year (we got a smaller photo before but this is bigger) and clearer shots from her Teen Vogue 2005 photoshoot..

The long version of the commercial is terrible especialy the part in the library.
and her haircut in this part is looking bad.

anyway I like her smile in the end and overall its still "cute"
