Well, funnily enough all of the 'trashy' singers like Rihanna and Katy Perry seem to wear gowns to these events nowadays.

Her and RiRi met on the set of "End of the World." I saw some pics of other guests over on Just Jared...and a lot of people went for long gowns. Also other people who are younger than her (*cough* Miley Cyrus *cough*) are dressed like theyre 40.

I love the dress she chose, it suits the event. I mean it's the MTV Awards, it's supposed to be young and fun. I really like the way her hair is styled too. I feel like it's kind of at an unfortunate length at the moment and this hair style hides it well.
