I think she could do both. I'm excited for both too and hope they both pan out for her.

I'm really looking forward TBR press. It feels like its been so long since Perks and I really want to see more of Emma on the red carpet.

Hopefully Paris Hilton won't have too prominent of a cameo. I think Kirsten Dunst filmed something for it as well.

Wow! Emma looks almost unrecognizable in the trailer. I really like the overall vibe of the teaser. It's classic Sophia Coppola, but still different. Can't wait to see it.

I am so excited to see Emma in this role! It's so different from her other characters. This might be a weird comparison but when I saw the trailer it kinda reminded me of the film Young Adult, in that you don't necessarily relate to the characters (especially Charlize Theron's character) and in fact you sort of dislike them, yet you can still appreciate and understand them. Whether or not the film is really like this, I don't know, but that's the vibe I got from the teaser trailer. Still excited to see what Sofia Coppola has dreamed up though, it seems like it'll be an interesting commentary on celebrity.

Yes, that's an interesting and probably valid comparison. I think Emma said something about how she felt sorry for the character she acted in the end and that could be what people feel to. From pre-screenings, people said the character was over-the-top and not easy to like which is what the real life girl the character is based on seems to be.

Also, this is a teaser trailer and seemed to be released to get attention. The trailer and the promo shots of Emma in the magazines are so different from each other where the trailer is loud while the promo shots look soft and moody. Would be interesting to see how Sofia meshes them together. Cannot wait for the actual trailer and the movie itself.
 
It seems as though this will be very satirical through its absurdity. I mean this in a good way.
 
this reminds me of that selena gomez movie "spring breakers" but at least emma has sofia on her side.
