Emma's look is cool in a minimalistic way but perhaps I'd like it a bit more if she paired better accessories with it (maybe something with a pop of color like a red?).
She looks gorgeous. I like the sleekness of the outfit, and it's really sexy and grown-up. But I think she could've gone a bit more risque. It's the Costume Institute after all. But she looks beautiful nonetheless.
Glad to see her at the Met, though I don't really like the dress or hair (let it loose). The make-up is- as almost always- spot on.
Oh and I think the earring was a nice touch.
I love the hair and makeup.. She's one of the ones who can pull off both natural and bold makeup, IMO. But the dress is off for me from her upper thighs down, not sure why.. Maybe the placement or the place where it stops.. I would have liked to see her in the runway show version.. Overall, she looks good though.
Apparently she ripped the dress

I'm thinking that it could be quite punk if she had done that before the red carpet and put safety pins along the lines of the dress..
^I was going to say, perhaps it was in honor of the punk theme? Well, I suppose if one's dress is going to rip the best place for it to happen is at an event honoring those who honed the ripped clothes look.
^Could be. Or it was originally too high and she tried to lower it. Actually, now that I think about it, that could be why I think the bottom portion is off for me.. Like it was meant to be higher but she was uncomfortable and tried to pin it together last-minute so the proportions look off..
Emma's make up is great, as usual. I like the dress, she makes it look classy. I only wish that her look was a little less polished for the punk theme.
OMG! I love this entire outfit. WHY does she do this to me?! She makes it look so easy and doable, but when I try it never looks as cute as hers. Posted via Mobile Device
