An aura of arrogance is not a bad thing in my book! As long as you have a reason to be it, I always find myself attracted to people that are.

i find arrogance totally unattractive when it is combined with a certain shallowness and stupidity
dont misunderstand me, i am a great fan of her work , and without her vogue paris wouldnt be what it is now, i guess i was just a little surprised...

and everybody is mean to the shop asst. during the sales... anyway sometimes the shop assts. are mean themselves!

the conversation mainly focused on the two bikinis on display, one red, one black and how it would be perfect to wear one of them at ile de ré and the other one in ibiza, blablabla, was the green tshirt too green, was the beige tshirt too beige, all this a little too loud...there was no one in the shop but her and her friend/ daughter?? and the shop assistant only asked if she needed another size of the jacket she was trying on, and she looked at her like she was some total idiot (the girl was a very nice person) and made fun of her with her friend
apart from that, she is extremely stylish, good looking,
but you know this happens all the time, to me, i've always been a great fan of her, carine, and all the vogue girls, and then i met most of them thinking i would meet really smart persons and found myself quite embarrassed by their stupidity
this is a personal point of view and doesnt affect my judgement on their cretivity and wonderful work

I am sorry to hear about her attitude to the sales assistant. Kemikor, you come across as a very nice person in your posts, so I am inclined to believe you. It´s just horrible when people are mean to sales assistants.

About the conversation, I think I might sound just as shallow, when I am in the store. I have a very good eye for colours, so my friends always ask me if this colour would look good with that and so on.

And one more thing. When the possible daughter was mentioned, I became curious if she is married. Any of our French members now? I am sure she must get featured in your gossip magazines.

what amazes me is that her styling is very personal. i mean all of these outfits - she can simply wear them herself. thats her own style - the way she dresses herself and they way she dresses the models. it's an image of alt-esque girl.
there's an editorial with natasha poly from one of the back issues of paris vogue. natasha simply looks just like emmanuelle - the same hair, the same clothes - everything. and it really looks chic.

I really hope to see more pictures of her from the show! It's the same blazer+ jeans combo but it works so well on her, she has just the slim tall body to really pull it off.

... this is such a "fashion" conversation...
but it happens not only to Emmanuelle Alt... I have friends like this, too...
about the size episode... I think this is linked to her situation... but that's having a big ego!!!

and it's true I don't know if she has a husband...
I know Carine has a husband and Claire Dhelens (used to?) date/ be fiancé to Alain Chamfort
