Emmanuelle Alt - Stylist

Anytime:flower: Oddly enough, I think I found it in this thread when it was in the beginning stages:lol:

did she ever write for fashion magazine before she started editing and styling?

she was front row at gianfranco ferre... i posted an image where she is seating next to carine in the carine thread... but thought it wasnt really worth posting it here, as you cant really see her fully. she is wearing awesome shoes! (also seen in more than one picture in the ferre thread)
fashion week begins!!!

She's incredibly good in what she does and her style is beyond compare but I think she's bit scary for me to work with.

I've worked with a couple of women of what looks like her style and they are so sure of themselfs and their worth that they cannot stand any sign of weakness in people that work under them, to me that's a bit scary.:flower:

I'm not sure I follow your statement...have you worked with her, or haveyou worked with people that have worked with her?

oh no, but that's the impression I get from her in her interviews, she can be a big softy for all I know, but that's not how she comes across to me.

^that's perfectly normal with woman in her position, she's parisian and nonchalant.

I love her style, them shoes look great on her.

What does being Parisian has to do with anything? I Know loads and loads of Parisian women and none of them fits the cliché.

Well i do not know if it's because of her position i do not get that impression with Carine, it's really her demeanor.

i wouldnt say scary... i'd say FIERCE! B)

She is amazing.. and she has really earned her position in such a hard business.. like most high-power women she can..perhaps be a little intimidating, I know a few french girls as well and they are so sure of themselves if they don't like you... you WILL know.

It's not rudeness it's a cultural thing. They are a nation of very strong women.
