Emporio Armani S/S 07 London

The lip print looks like a really bad imitaition of Vivienne Westwood's lip print

boring as always,
why the hell does it always have to look like a nineties collection?????????

I thought this was the worst collection I've seen from Emporio Armani.

The colours, the details, the horrible lip-prints...Armani is far overrated.

I HATE those tilted hats. I wish he would stop doing that. Not good in my opinion.....:ermm:

where is him?

i agreeeee.....
boring boring boring... i dont think it would be right to say it is trash, since that would be totally unethical and disrespectful to the work they've done... but it definetly is BORING...
boring palette (again with his CLASSIC)
WRONG proportion
i m not sure if it actually looked CHEAP or "new-money"
and again those HATS!!! he has done that for aaaaages... all those collections would look so much better without the hats...
it's so sad, armani bores me so much lately... i used to love him but he's turned too big and comercial and old and stucked in the ninetees.
where is the man who deconstructed the suit??

i don't wanna be the only one who finds these kind of the same...

maybe they dont looks the same and im just nuts about this repetitive-imitating-armani collections...

Im glad Armani showed this collection in London, his collection has been ruining Milan's fashion rep for years, his clothes are so characterless.

^ Perhaps he's trying to distance it from Armani Collezioni, Armani Prive and Giorgio Armani, kind of like Miu Miu moving to Paris to distance itself from Prada?

Never thought I wouls say this about Armani, I hate it.

But why London?...

well i think London needs more powerful fashion brand these days... for over i don't know how many years it's always where the new designer starts...

I agree with the majority opinion considering this collection, it's indeed very weak attempt from the begin to end. I dearily hope that signore Armani will retire in a year or two, replaced by N. Rodriguez alike, this would bring some ''sought after'' new winds for the brand.

i see what he's trying to do here. throw us back into the eighties, which he thinks is cool, but in reality he is REALLY throwing us back into the 80's, like literally (!).... it's really something that designers would show at the end of the 80's, beginning 90's. It's trying to be chick, and original, but it fails miserably it simply looks boring! If you want to look different, interesting, elegant, you DON'T have to use red, you DON'T have to make a blazer green on one side and black on the other....

is there a thread for the party held and not just for the runway?
