I like it - not the greatest but it looks recognisably Erdem, ie like most of it would be perfectly at home if you got body-snatched to 75 years ago or were starring in some period drama. The cinched waists and large belts do remind me of McQueen since I've just come from that thread, though I think it's mostly the styling and I think maybe this silhouette being popular this season.
I think Sarah Burton's McQueen and Erdem actually have a sort of affinity given they both draw on historical silhouettes, even if Erdem takes a slightly different approach thanks to his use of prints. But it's interesting to see! And I appreciate the consistency of the approach, it obviously works for their customers.
