She is such a good fit for Blugirl! I'd been hoping for another campaign...though she could certainly take on more. Outside of the airbrushing, she does look radiant.

As for her interview this morning: she was so poised, but with a hint of nerves. It's not often we see her on live video speaking, and I'm quite happy that she's getting more exposure (certainly no pun intended...) with Victoria's Secret. She could certainly be a fixture speaking in front of the camera down the line...B)

Victoria’s Secret is celebrating Valentine’s Day a bit early, and this morning Erin Heatherton and Candice Swanepoel arrived via the Bombshell bus to the store on Houston Street. Tourists and New Yorkers on their way to work got an eyeful of VS girls, as the duo posed on top of the bus with Bombshell signs in hand. “It was really, really exciting and unexpected so early in the morning, and to see so many people in bright lights,” said Erin. “But I had Candice by my side so I wasn’t afraid. It was just really exciting to come here and celebrate shooting the campaign! This is my first big campaign with Victoria’s Secret, so I’m so excited and I couldn’t be happier!” For the new Wild at Heart lingerie campaign, Erin was joined by a very live animal: a leopard. “It was not a baby leopard—it was an angry teenage leopard, much bigger than I thought it was going to be!”
Scary yes, but nothing a bombshell can’t handle, right? As for their job title, it’s a pretty big undertaking. “To be a bombshell is being a really sexy woman, being really confident, not afraid to show your curves, your femininity,” explained Candice, in a pair of liquid leggings and Christian Louboutin heels. “I think she is the girl every woman wants to be, everyone looks at when she walks into the room… Someone who likes to take risks with what she wears.” For these girls, Valentine’s Day will be a relaxed affair. Erin is hoping for some free time paired with flowers and dinner with her boyfriend, while Candice would love a special affair planned by her sweetie.
For Erin fans looking out for the model during Fashion Week, pay attention beginning on the 12th. She’ll be in Chicago (baring all snow-related emergencies) until then, but she’ll be ready to walk as soon as she’s back!Want to ask the girls a question? Here's hoping she enjoys her time back home (right?) and that she can catch a flight back through this wintry mess for Fashion Week. She was glaringly absent last season (for good reason, but still...)
