Shame Maurizio will likely be infamous for the stupid banana stunt. Italian Esquire has been quietly creating imagery and content for adult men since their rebrand. That they dared cast James Franco for their coverstar last June shows that they’re willing to go against the masses, a trait no other mainstream fashion publication has the spine for. And their art direction is fab. Needs more fashion tho.
