This photo is essential Esther for me. What a terrific ed! She was one of my very favorites back in the day, during all her DKNY/Donna Karan campaigns.


I know a woman whose son dated Esther, this was at least 10 years ago she told me this, and it had been I dont know how much earlier than her telling me, anyhow she said Esther was 'not nice'. I could go on, but it's more a gossipy 'Model Behaviour' issue. Anyhow love you for posting these Dean!

I love her lips too, and I remember she went on I think it was Leno back a long time ago during her popularity and he mentioned them, and she said, "Oh I dont know why everyone always asks me if they're real! My brother has big lips too!"

Another memory-I ripped a runway photo of her out of a magazine, this was also 10-11 years ago, so around 1998...and it was during a lunch break while at work, I stole it from a mag in a store... I brought it back to work and this girl thought she was ugly and looked like 'a fish'.

I simply love the footage of her and Natalia Semanova in the video clip I posted, look for it at 00:57...its only 3 seconds but makes me want to find an editorial of them together, they would really have complemented each other I think.

BTW she and Natalia have worked together with Peter Lindbergh a few times......I could have a look for the pics. Also they do look great together for that tiny little bit of time.
