and on her way out of the store. Unfortunately they did not let me take pics inside the shop, otherwise I could have taken so many while she was in there, but at least i saw her well and she looks fabulous!!! I was lucky to take a few closeups on her way out, check them out:

well my dear Tony, I did not want to KILL you, but make you happy) well, i was the happy one and I guess you are rather jeallous, but it is very easy to meet her, you just have to be around fashion events and have your camera with you...well, it was a pure luck as I just saw her walking the street and I instantly called her name and told her i was a fan and asked her if she can pose for a picture with me, she agreed)

well, the first thing i thought about after meeting her and taking the pics was to post them here! We both look fine??? Well, that sounded a bit...hm...hahahaha, she looks fabulous and I look stupid, but it is OK) I am always like that when i see big models.
i often hear stories about how difficult she is, especially with photos, but depends on the moment, I was happy that she agreed this time)

I just meant, she looks lovely, and great smile and you look calm with eyes wide open. It's a cool picture, even if she doesn't look at the camera.

she was only with 1 guy, he looked as a friend...there was no entourage, but when she entered the shop the workers there were being nice and running around her like puppets, you know how it is with celebrities, everybody is trying to kiss their a...s. there was no security, only the big guys in the shop did not allow people to take pics inside the shop, it is some kind of a stupid policy in all big shops in Milan(have no idea why).
Her face was not thin at all, she looked perfect as always, it is the different angles that make you think this way. Nobody can always look perfect from paparazi shots, after all she was not posing and she just ignored all the people with cameras around.
It just looked as she is out shopping and she did get some D&G stuff, so she came out with bags.

ok. that's a relief to read! thanks again, radol!!!! really jealous that you got to meet Eva!! of all the supermodels that exist, she's the one i'd want to meet the most. (or KK or Naomi).

and in wich language did you ask for a photo ? english or italian ?

i asked in english of course, i do not speak Italian, but i think she does...any way, I had no idea she was going to be there, i was just walking around the big designer stores that evening and i saw her on the street, just walking like a normal person...some people were wondering who she was, but i guess it was me that stopped her first and made the other aware she is some sort of a celebrity...the majority of people are very very ....well i want to use the word stupid...they have no idea of the names of the most famous faces in the world...and even some photographers who have access backstage at the biggest shows have no idea of the name of the biggest models, which is a shame and annoys me every time I witness it!
When i am in Paris or Milan asking a model for an autograph or a picture, there are often people asking me: who was she? and I look at them in a shock, cause it is like looking at Madonna and asking, who is she?
but people will never change, it is good there is a small group of people like us who are well informed)lol

^ Haha you're so funny. Well we fashion addicts are a minority compared to most of population that doesn't care about fashion in general, even less about models, so that's why they don't know the models' names, and if the photographers don't know their names that's because they don't really care to know them, honestly, if they were that interested they would know, judging by the fact they are in contact with the models.

Eva despite the fact she's big in the fashion industry, I assure you that nobody knows her name, she's a celebrity but only inside the industry of fashion.

ooooooh, wow! thanks, honeycombchild, for the info. love the irony of your post immediately following one in which filipe says that nobody knows Eva outside the fashion industry. haha.

not that i necessarily disagree. she's certainly not famous here in north america. for all the work that she's done over so many years, i think alot of people might be like, "oh, that name sounds familiar..." but that's it. however, i do know that she's much more well-known in the UK and in France/Italy.

well I just met her in the Meca of the fashion industry-Milano and people on the street was wondering who she was! Which left me in a complete shock! I know most people are very stupid and ignorant in general, but not to know who Eva is is a real shame! I will never accept that! Ok, if somebody does not know who Iris or Edita is(despite they are so huge at the moment) i will forgive them, but an ICON as Eva....no forgiveness)lol

That just confirms what I said, not even in Milan which is the capital of fashion in Italy and which it seems she hangs out there sometimes, people know who she's.
