Just wanted to say congratulations to Eva on her first VI cover. She really should have been on the cover of VI in the early 90s. But better late than never, I guess.

I really don't know for what reason she never did the cover before. After so many editos in this particular Vogue with so many photographers in all those years. Maybe Steven Meisel had a wrong idea of her and it's great that he has changed his mind.

i was absolutely astonished when i read in the VOGUE Italia thread that this was Eva's first cover. after about 20 years as a supermodel. Then, if that weren't enough - my jaw literally hit the floor when i read that this was Eva's first time working with Meisel. how on earth is that even possible?! after all these years?!?

they must've had some sort of an incident or perhaps he just didn't become a fan until recently. either way, i'm very happy for her and happy for him that he got to experience first-hand the incredible sensual beauty that is Eva Herzigova.

and she still delivers. everytime. and i appreciate that so much. she truly is a fabulous model and i'm happy for her that she is getting awesome work.

but -- and yes, there's a but -- she just looks terrible lately. there's no getting around it.
