The edito by Glen Luchford is terrific. I took long minutes to watch all photos which is a great thing. The styling and Eva bring something very special. I love it and laugh a lot. I presume it will be even better on paper.

About the ELLE, I keep the second line of my post and want to forget the cover (so amateur) and the first pic (ridiculous... try to put your hand like this...). But the one with mouth open make it worth it.

i agree -- the Luchford edit is awesome. Eva just brings a certain magnetic presence to her photographs. the styling is fantastic, as well. though, she looks a bit like Anna Wintour in some of the pics. perhaps it's the bob. haha.

the ELLE cover is amateur-ish in the sense that it just doesn't look like there is much production value in the photograph itself. i think Eva's pose and everything is fine.

the first pic, with the hand ... i just think she looks like a corpse. her cheeks and eyes. not a good pic, at. all. i never would have printed that picture. i also love the pic with the mouth open! its fresh and lively. and the one where she has her finger in her mouth is playful and sexy.

Hmm this has happend before.....hopefully she will be back to normal soon.

In the meantime astonishing work with Meisel for V.I. and about bloody time too.....it only took him 20 years to realise her. Never mind he got there in the end and a V.I. cover to add to her collection can't be bad.
I actually wish she had more shots in the main edit, but the Luchford edit. more than makes up for that. Almost all the shots are great in their own way but the 2nd pic is inspired.B)

omg!!!! those Versace runway pics!! wow. that is why Eva was called "Marilyn of the 90s". her body and face are just so ridiculously healthy and beautiful and radiant. unbelievable.


she looks better in motion in Brazil that in the pics. i love her runway walk. so cool and effortless, yet slinky and sexy. it's representative of her entire appeal.
