I think that the Versace info is contradictory and either no girls were cut or perhaps just one girl was cut, I am basing that on the conflicting information about Candice.

I think Daphne is great, but I find her way to young for Versace.

Um, Versace really must be going in the new direction if they chose girls like Daphne or Saskia. Too bad if it's going to be only the latter in the actual ads, it would be great if they shot only Abbey, Natasha and Candice.

Like i've said in Natasha's thread, Vogue Italia isn't a gossip website that would start a rumor without concrete evidence prior to reporting it and the Stylist on the campaign is also a contributor to the Magazine, so that is enough for me.

reading the report on vogue.it though, the way they said 'Australian model Candice Swanepoel' and their past blunders when leaking campaign news (anybody remember last season's moschino and balenciaga news from vogue.it lol) reduces the site's credibility greatly in my perception. plus we received versace news recently from a member who knew who were present the day of the shoot, who the photographer was and what happened on the shoot (and the news sounded totally legit).. well we can wait for the pictures to surface come june / july but until then i'm rooting for an OG campaign even though i can't quite stand ms de brauw.

To be quite honest, Vitamin W said a while ago that big names were send packing (Daphne G, Candice) even before anyone knew they were in it and told the one left was a short cut dark hair girl. Theimagist named 4 girls (3 recent VP story girls and Candice). I guess we can trust a industry source who said at the last minute these girls were cut. So it's safe to say Saskia is OG at Versace IMO.
But at least we know the girls that were sent home packing. I think they got the original cast.

the news from vitamin is a lot more trustworthy than vogue italia. i think vogue italia was partly correct but they didnt know what exactly happened eventually during the photoshoot. it's pretty a norm in this industry to have so many girls casted for campaigns and only few get it at the end. a bit cruel but it is what it is. everyone want to see a spectacular final results so they have to push for that.

It's Vogue Italia, they aren't a gossip site and they clearly have industry sources .

And I'm not saying to anyone they should believe them, but that's who I'm believing over someone who won't reveal their source, and I'm not saying that member is wrong but it's hardly concrete information.
