pretty dumb question but i'm a little paranoid:shock:

does years of waxing have some kind of effect on the skin ? i feel like the skin gets pulled back and forth:huh: :p ...does it make the skin less elastic or anything? I'm totally clueless.

I wouldn't think so. This is the first I've heard of this. Waxing doesn't really "pull" the skin to the point of causing potential damage, at least not the waxing I've had.

hmmmm...i dont think so...but u really should take care..
with me when i go to a salon to get my eyebrows done via threading..which is using a string to get the hairs out..they put rosewater to sooth the red skin after the process..i think u can do that with ur upper lips too.

thanks, i've heard about threading but places are hard to locate where i live. How long does threading last for?

Yes, I've done that. It was very very painful and afterwards that area was red and blotchy but it calms down within an hour or two.
The thing with threading is that you get used to it and it's less painful for everytime you go.
But the first 3 times were very painful, but I can tolerate pain quiet well, wouldn't recommend this to someone who's too scared :)

and kimkhuu for me it grew back finer and less darker :flower: thank god!
