The only info I could find on the Swan Princess is that it was an animated film based on Swan Lake, so it's probably not the same reference.

In every recreation of Gulliver's Travels, it's such a shame that the satirical elements are lost. I mean, obviously it doesn't really make sense to make a fashion shoot about the satire, but in movies and cartoon depictions, you'd think they'd make more of an effort, no? Those pictures are really lovely though, I like the whole rag doll thing.

^I've never read Gulliver's Travels, only seen a couple of films and cartoons, so those elements are mostly lost on me. Is the satire about how "ethnocentric" the people in both lands are, unable to accept that people look and live differently elsewhere? VGK focuses more on the cutesy, pretty-pretty elements of each fairytale, as all fairytales contain social commentary and humor.

No, not really, the satire is more about how everything is relative to perspective. Lilliput (land of the small people) and Brobdignag (land of the giants) are both supposed to represent England. It's really a good read if you ever get around to it.
