Fall / Winter 14.15 Miscellanous Smaller Brand Ad Campaigns - Discussion Welcome

I don't hate Desigual, got some pretty nice sandals from them. They have some good stuff among many crappy. The colors are great but the problem is that all of their clothes look the same.
But I like their handbags and shoes.

ghastly clothes...not a fan

adriana bores me these days, i think even candice would have been better here since she did the show as well

Dunhill F/W 14.15 by Annie Leibovitz

RAY’S WAY: John Ray will this week unveil his first ad campaign for Dunhill, which has been shot by Annie Leibovitz and art directed by Ronnie Cooke Newhouse of House+Holme. The five images for the fall season feature models Tara Ferry, Andrew Cooper and Norbert Michalke, each of whom is meant to represent different characteristics of the Dunhill man. “The quintessentially British gentleman carries his life experiences with him — sophisticated and self-assured,” said Ray, the brand’s creative director. “To be both functional and luxurious at the same time is an aesthetic that I believe resonates with men on an international level.”

The images are accompanied by a series of quips such as: “Trousers are actually made in three lengths: too short, too long and just right,” and “Perhaps the English have an unfair advantage.” Dunhill, which is officially branded as dunhill with a small “d,” also plans to release a one-minute film on YouTube to accompany the campaign. The ads will break in the August and September issues of titles worldwide, including British GQ.

Tamara Mellon Kowboy Karlie 2014 : Karlie Kloss by Tom Craig

TAMARA MELLON knows what women want. Having built Jimmy Choo into an internationally renowned brand, in turn making herself a small fortune and being honoured with an OBE from the Queen, her eponymous brand that she started last year is now in such high demand that this week sees the launch of her own e-commerce site.

"We have fielded requests from around the globe and I have witnessed the shift in how women shop. I view e-commerce as an important selling platform," Mellon told us. "My life is primarily spent in New York, but London is also home so it was the natural next step for the Tamara Mellon brand."

Comprising ready-to-wear, accessories, and, of course, shoes, the site's new-season poster girl is Karlie Kloss who takes on the role of Kowboy Karlie, modelling the brand's signature fringing and leather goods. For Mellon, she is already more than aware of the benefits of having her own e-commerce in house.

"I feel that online fashion has changed the industry and I thoroughly embrace it," she said. "I love social media for that reason as it gives me the opportunity to have an immediate dialogue with my customer."

It marks a busy year for the entrepreneur, who also published her memoir, In My Shoes, in November- the paperback of which is released this week. With the speed at which she is charging ahead, it won't be long before the next installment is required.

Sandro F/W 14.15 by Karim Sadli

Rolled up canvasses, abstract paintings, paint cans. Two artists in front of the camera. The images portray a woman clad in an oversize coat, a simple T-shirt, skinny pants and mannish shoes. The man is wearing adouble-breasted long coat, a checked shirt, high-waisted panta and laceless derby shoes.

The images belong to Sandro’s fall/winter 2014-15 campaign andintend to “recreate the fantastic vision of Lucian Freud and his muse in Francis Bacon’s atelier,” explained the brand.

The campaign was shot in Paris by photographer Karim Sadli and stars Edie Campbell and Elliot Vulliod.
