wwd.comHERRERA’S MULTIPLE DIMENSIONS: For the second time, Carolina Herrera has partnered with photographer Greg Kadel for its fall ad campaign. The images put model Bette Franke in a mirrored environment, accentuating the movement and refinement of the clothes, and with a touch of trompe l’oeil, Franke is captured in multiple looks. Embodying playful femininity, daywear is juxtaposed with eveningwear, and varying textures and new proportions are depicted.
Giovanna Battaglia styled the campaign and Orlando Pita did the hair. The ads will break in September issues of domestic and international magazines, and a video short, created by Kloss Films, of the making of the campaign will be disseminated through the brand’s social-media platforms.
IRO’s Fall Ads–French brand IRO enlists another top model for its fall-winter 2014 campaign with Estonian beauty Karmen Pedaru. In the past, IRO has featured Eniko Mihalik and Magdalena Frackowiak as its faces. Posing for black and white images, Karmen wears looks from its ready-to-wear line as well as its new jewelry range called “IRO Life”. The gems still have IRO’s rock and roll edge while maintaining timeless elegance with silver and diamond styles.
