The director Li Yu and Fan are really close friends. They've collaborated in three films in a row, which made Fan won several awards including Best Actress in Tokyo International Film Festival.
Fan barely wears makeup in Li's films.
I've always loved her looks in them. So fresh yet still stunning. For those who are concerned about how polished and "dolled-up"she always seem to be, I guess this could be a valid proof of how naturally beautiful she is.
