Fashion Weeks S/S 2016 [Schedules]

Why is Givechy showing in New York?
Because they open a store in NYC. Its a good promo for new clients. But actually before this moment I thought they will show new collection in Milan too...

The Olsens Move to Paris
By HOLLIE BROTHERTON
Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen’s fashion label, The Row, will show its new collection in Paris this season instead of New York. It appears to be a last-minute decision – the brand was due to show during New York Fashion Week next week – and no further details have yet been confirmed.

This is the second time The Row has unexpectedly cancelled and changed its show to Paris. In 2011, it cancelled its spring/summer collection show in New York due to late sample deliveries.

The move is particularly surprising this season as the company is scheduled to open its second flagship store in New York City early next year. The label is closely associated with the city as this is where the company is headquartered and where the team produces the majority of their collection.

Established in 2006, the Olsens have built The Row into a highly successful business with 164 points of distribution in 37 countries and estimated annual sales of $50 million. Famed for its luxurious approach to cut, colour and fabric, it earned the twins the title of Womenswear Designers of the Year at the 2015 CFDA Awards.

Does anyone have the full location schedule for London Fashion Week please?

What happened to Donna Karan? Am I blind, I don't see it on the NY Schedule.

The Donna Karan Collection brand doesn't do collections anymore now that Donna herself is out of the company. They're focussing on DKNY.

News on Tom Ford?

Where is Dries van Noten normally? Might go have a stalk today

Tom Ford is upping the ante for his fashion shows once again. After a Fall presentation in Los Angeles last season, the maverick designer is reimagining the traditional runway setting completely, with a video starring his many model muses.

The cinematic project will be released tomorrow on TomFord.com, but you can get a glimpse of what’s to come in a just-released teaser, and these exclusive behind-the-scenes photos of the shoot, featuring models Aymeline Valade, Xiao Wen Ju, Mica Arganaraz, Lexi Boling, and Valerija Kelava in Ford’s latest creations. We hear these famous models aren’t the only big names appearing in Ford’s film, too. Check VogueRunway.com tomorrow for the full scoop.

I was looking for Givenchy on the Paris Fashion Week schedule... and... I completely forgot it was in New York.

I walked past Palais Royal and they were building a runway for Isabel Marant.

does anyone know where they're having balenciaga tomorrow?

The Chanel show set will be an airport...

Eh, they've sort of touched on that idea before: the cruise show with the jet and then the airplane Haute Couture show.

Yes, he said that he would not do the airplaine thing as he did before. But it will be Chanel Airline.
I believe they will build an actual airport. He said that he love to do sets/themes to entertain people and that it's also great for publicity because those images are around the world and stays forever (we did know that already :D)
