I loooove the rochas boots. I really want a pair. I need a pair of black boots and I was thinking maybe the rochas but I dont like how they're so straight, it looks like they should come in at the ankle. I hope the ankle boots make it to the top of my list though

yeah rochas shoes are super high priced, but so worth it...

Those Gucci ostrich claw skin platforms are gorgeous, they remind me of the Gwenissima and those older Gucci pumps that were basically the same except had studs...

I didn't notice the price, $1300 for the pumps is craaaaazy I payed $1150 for the ankle boots I have, I didn't expect the pumps to be more! In italy it's quite a bit cheaper though, the ankle boots I got are $700 I believe in italy, I'd get it from there.

Am i wrong to think that they should come in at the ankle? Otherwise they look like they could be that perfect black boot that I've been looking for for so long. Or am I better off with the ankle boots?

I don't think so- they ought to come in, but as they're ankle boots, not knee boots, they'd only be worn with pants, and you wouldn't ever see the ankle bit right? I don't know if it'd matter...

yeah in the case of knee boots, it should come in at the ankle- otherwise it creates the dreaded Cankle effect

If you look closely it appears as if the top of the shoe is flattened, which gives it such a straight appearance. If the seams on the front are more rounded, as they should be, the boot should come in.
