What do you think of the Fendi baguette? Is it a classic that will always be a classic, or is it over and a bit passe?, even with all the different fabric and material combinations?

the one softgrey has is a classic ;)

she needs to start wearing it more often....

in way of becoming a classic, i think... it has a simple shape and comes in a multitude of design variations (ie prints, materials, colors, etc)

post pics pls soft!

okay this is one I was considering..

should I?

I think it is a classic, if only because the shape and size is so practical for most situations. About the white model, hmmmm I think it is a big risky. A white bag has to be impeccable and I can imagine that the color of a denim jacket (for example) can rub onto the bag...

The Fendi Baguette is a classic bag imo. I read it in an article as well how it is kinda like a cult bag as well. I personally prefer the more colorful beaded ones.

i agree w/ vintage... i like the more unique, beaded ones

I think it depends on how it’s worn...I don’t think it’s a classic in the sense that it will make a simple understated outfit look chic...in fact some of the baguettes may even look a bit tacky (monogram)

As others have mentioned I also like the beaded & sequined styles better. And I love this fun customized one :p (it’s inspiring me to do something with my zucca baguette)

Obviously I can't afford a Fendi baguette anyway, but they seem so tiny. I'd be concerned that you really couldn't carry anything in there that you couldn't just shove in your coat pocket.

That said, it's a nice looking purse, but I don't think I'd use one unless it turns out to have an extradimensional space in it!

I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it a classic, but it certainly isn't passé. If it suits your needs, I say go for it :flower:

As someone else already mentioned, the shape is classic. Of course, depending on what kind you get it could be labelled trendy, but it's the kind of trendy that always re-emerges.

Some of them that I remember from the late 90's/early part of the millenium were really cool bags, one in particular had teal abalone square shaped paillettes covering it....I must say I really loved the baguettes.

found this one online.....I love the colors.

that's TOO true... ...

quiet of late but still sells in ever stranger colour/fabric combinations- so i guess that makes it a classic.
