Fendi F/W 2025.26 Milan

SILVIA MI AMORRRRR!!! It was honestly a dream seeing her design womenswear again; I don't need anyone else at Fendi but her.

The menswear looks in between are frustrating and feel unnecessary. However, I'm glad to see fur back on the Fendi catwalk.

I love it, but Dana Smith and Natasha Poly’s looks remind me of Prada from 2004. The last section feels very much like Prada 2017, while the ornaments section is reminiscent of Prada from 2012 and 2013.

It is a good offering after the KJ years but I don't get the overenthusiasm toward it as there is nothing special but just good clothes.
I think that’s part of the collection’s appeal. It’s actually good CLOTHES. It’s been increasingly rare to see a show where the core items from a wearability point of view are great throughout.

It’s not groundbreaking or overly earth shattering but it’s great clothes.

Absolutely stunning collection I love the leather it’s so Fendi. It had some Prada elements but overall the show gave a sense pf luxury and feminity. I think they’ll sell well, this collection is a hit

my first two thoughts this morning:

Kim Jones probably felt so embarrassed after seeing the show (as he deserves)

No details photos on Vogue Runway. really????

I thought this was fine. Some lovely dresses and coats, but the embellishments felt clunky and dated, and some of the shapes were just unflattering. The bags, too, were unexciting.

When I saw the first looks, I actually thought - ah, finally, some decent looks from Kim Jones. And then i realised - of course, this is not his work.

Guys, really? 🧐 what am I missing here?

Yes, some nice fur here and there but that’s about it.
I think that this is maybe a moment similar to what happened at Chloe.

This feels like an unapologetic Fendi collection. There are furs (I learned that it’s shearling treated to look like different types of furs), great accessories, good commercial clothes but it has the spirit, the opulence and the right dose of innovation people have come to expect from Fendi.

On a personal level, it’s good to see grown women fashion made for grown women.

And, even if I’m still young, turning 40 this year, this is the type of clothes I want to splurge on.

And yes, some things almost looks Prada-ish but in reality, it’s not a surprise: Silvia is a bourgeoise from the north of Italy. She probably have more references in common with Miuccia than Karl had.
As I like to say, they speaks the same language with different accent.

This is a collection that just feels good, with it mistakes included.
