Fendi Haute Couture S/S 2024 Paris

The growth at Fendi is slower than at Celine and Loewe…what an irony when we think about the fact that it was, when Karl was there, the third most important brand of the group…
It’s really time for Kim to go. There’s nothing desirable in his vision for women.
Safe works for Dior because the machine behind is insane but for Fendi, more is needed.

A white void where you can find some expensive clothes.

Did he really obsessed with greek goddess or roman statues?
If we can merge this collection with his another from the last 2 years it just look like one long cohesive collection. Drapery, flowy dresses.
It's surely pretty and feminine but kinda boring..

Aseptic and lank. These are all just flimsy shrouds that barely contain much design, let alone couture. Better than most this season, but that really isn’t a proud achievement because this ends up still being incredibly forgettable.

Kim just doesn’t work well at Fendi. Even if the couture/haute fourrure seems a bit excessive (maybe even archaic) for the house, Fendi has always embodied a strong sense of joyful experimentation that helped push it forward to pull it away from being dated. There’s no fun and joy in this at all, just boredom. Very inoffensive so it’ll cater itself well to the mindlessness of the “fash pack” and all the “journalists”, but where’s the actual soul?
