I have a bag that is made of lambskin and I discovered a few very tiny rips in the leather. They are about 1cm in length, if not smaller. What is the best way to go about fixing the tears before they get any bigger?

Thanks for any suggestions ^_^

I saw two of them and one didn't fix handbags, the other said the holes were too small. I don't want to wait until they're huge until I can get my bag fixed :(

I think I need better advice.. was sure I'd find it here!

If you can get your hands on some glue called Petronio... it should do the trick.. if you are very careful.

My boyfriend had a rip in his leather jacket... I applied a very tiny amount and sort of babied the glue into the cut... you can't even see the hole anymore

Ooh that sounds good. I'm going to try that; the rips are at the bottom of the bag and I have a steady hand so it should be okay :)

Then I think I'll get a lining put in so this doesn't happen again.

Thanks! :)

Bullseye.

It was a gift, purchased immediately before they started being shipped with a lining.

I do adore it.. it's olive green, which is my absolute favorite color. But it's starting to become more trouble than it's worth!

i still can't believe they got away with selling a lambskin bag with no lining.

Maybe I can simply ship it back to them to fix for being so damned cheap in the first place ;)

The part where the handle meets the bag, where a long strip of lambskin is wrapped around the juncture, has completely unwound twice already since Christmas.

This send-it-back idea is sounding better by the minute :p

For what they're charging, the bag shouldn't be falling apart.. It's ridiculous
