Flattering tops for small chests?

I personally think that v-necks draw attention to your lack of bust and not the most flattering style. :flower:

I think the best would be halternecks as small busted women can pull them off without being too revealing, and any necklines with frills and ruffles.

I think v neck tops are ok if you have a good bra underneath!!:p
I think tops that cut straight along the top of the bust are good to enhance!!

high neck/collar tops, low cut backs not fronts

no v-necks unless a t-shirt is worn underneath
no wrap tops

I would def wear all the things I can't, like very low cut, button-front ... center gathers/ruching would probably be good ...

I disagree! I think if you are small busted you can wear virtually anything. I love the fact that I can wear deep v-necks without looking like I'm 'revealing' too much. and wraparound tops can be lovely and very flattering if they are well cut. :flower: in fact I prefer deep cut necks to high necks because they feel more feminine to wear if you don't have a lot of endowment.

If you have a small bust your name is on the Proenza Schouler boys "signature" top..

Tops to flatter flat chests

does anyone know what sort of tops look good on people with no chest ???

i would avoid tube tops that go straight across... i think those only emphasize a lack of chest..

something with a sweetheart neckline tends to look much better i think..
(i think that's what it is called anyway...)
and that can work strapless or not..

i have a cousin who is flat chested so i'm trying to think of what looks good on her :p

Merged with a couple of previous threads on this topic ...

I don't see nothing wrong with a women looking flat chested, you can wear anything you want.
But you can solve the "problem" with a padded bra, aren't 90% of them padded those days? You don't need to follow any rule that's the beauty of being flat chested.

i would say nothing that is too tight if it's a lighter fabric... but then again, it doesn't mean that it'll look bad!
it doesn't depend on what you wear, but how you wear it and if you're confident with your body or not ^_^

^tru dat. i think small chests are badass because you honestly CAN wear whatever without looking like a skankball.

Just wanted to note that I believe Cathy Pill designs for this figure type (which I believe is also her own) ... you might take a look at her shows for inspiration.

i think that vests/waistcoats work wonders for a small bust...

:p

well, i can't think of any top NOT flattering on small chests. but what comes to mind, is those empire-waisted shirts, that women with larger chests just can't really pull off (IMO). Something like this style:

I think flat girls can wear low-cut tops the BEST. Well-endowed girls would just look weird in it.

I so agree! I think we flat-chested girls can get away with a lot lower cuts without looking sl*tty or like we're trying too hard. In fact, I think it often looks better because it the fabric is more likely to drape the way it's supposed to...

not sure if this was said before but spaghetti strap tanks look better on smaller rather than big chests.
