Very Helmut Newton but the too sexy yet provocative and raunchy images of a male models' ***es, especially on the cover, doesn't do it for me. It could have been classier. I mean nothing wrong with nudity and sexy images but this, this is too revealing, there's no charm or beauty, it's just ***es, sorry. Where's the fashion twist?
am i the only one who thinks her facial expressions/dead eyes ruin everything? apart from the overt sexuality, of course, because i agree. i'm completely fine with nudity but there's absolutely no charm here.
^ it's not really her facial expression for me that kills it, it's the make-up on her cheek-bones I think that makes her look weird somehow. Mat Cyruss, héhé we all could only see red soles too but I think that the amount of flesh displayed wins it
maybe the make up IS what's throwing me off, but i'm not sure. it seems like her facial expression is the exact same in all of these but one. but..i don't want to criticize her too much because a) she isn't a model and b) she definitely isn't what makes this spread atrocious.
i dont mind it..obviously shes lacking the energy/face that a model would add to this type of shoot but for s celeb she did her best. The naked guys on the cover are distracting though
Very beautiful. Love that this magazine clearly shows care in its layout and art direction. It's all very much a tribute to Helmut Newton, Warhol, Albert Watson... but doesn't come across as a rip-off.
OK, so 1) Leighton looks amazing in some of these shots, but I think the wig it what's ruining it here. They should have gone for more of a Cleopatra vibe.
AND
2) what the what is going on with that Zhang Ziyi scandal!? Can't believe I hadn't heard of it until now.
