I read that too, apparently it was gonna be last February but nothing happened. So we'll see. Not sure if it was true to begin with though....I like both of them too, they are very down to earth and low profile which is amazing to find in a footballer considering he was named the best player of the world (very popular) and she is HIS girlfriend.

ny^Yes her favourite colour msut be black. I think they might be pretty much same age. I did some searching and it says they have know each other since they were 7 years old or something like that and it looks like they might be same age.

Antonella is 22 years old, she was born in Lionel’s hometown of Rosario, Argentina, where she was studying Nutrition, was? She quit school? No she didn’t it is just that now she is living in Barcelona with her boyfriend, so she is now studying there.
You might wonder how these two love birds met, was it at school? Did they live in the same neighborhood? Well, they did meet since they were just five years old, she is Lionel’s best friend Lucas Scaglia’s cousin, so they basically grew up together, or so it was confirmed by him in an interview

“I know Antonella since we were five years old, she is my best friend’s cousin, from Rosario like myself. I have seen her grow up just like she has seen me grow up, our families know each other, so I never had any doubts” Said Lionel.

But how did this whole hook up start? Well as you know Lionel moved from Argentina when he was very young, due to his growth problem, but he always tried to fly back to Rosario for the holy days and so it was on Christmas vacation in 2009, when they reconnected and fell for each other. Although they tried to keep a low profile, in Latin magazines it showed pictures of them taking long walks with their dog at the beach, but then when they were spotted together at a Sitges Carnival and then the world revealed news about the new romance, but they managed to keep it quiet for almost a year or so.

“It’s already one year that my girlfriend is with me and until now nobody knew about it. Well, people saw us together but they thought it was something normal. I didn’t know that there would be paparazzi at the Sitges carnival. If we wouldn’t have gone there, people still wouldn’t have known anything. But it doesn’t matter.”

Then we saw even more pictures of Antonella when she flew along with her in laws to Madrid, then it was rumored that they were getting married in February, which they didn’t and now rumors said that they will get married by the end of the year.
