I began renting the series DVD's through Netflix and have become addicted.

Does anybody else watch this show?

It's quite ridiculous at times... but I just love overseas shows like this...

Tanya Turner is so nasty. loves it. Esp. when she gets mad and her eyes rapidly dart back and forth.

I know she seriously is so nasty that I can't tell whose side she is on and what she wants, she is cheating the old man and then also her boyfriend, his son

I'm only on season 3... anything later isn't on DVD yet. :( And we don't get the show in the States.

I guess it's a soap... I don't care... I watch for Zoe Lucker's (sp) clothes and makeup, however tacky it sometimes may be. ;)

I watch it on the BBC channel every Sunday evening. You should be able to watch it on cable. I'm in California though...

Joan Collins appears in the last series and she has some classic scenes with Tanya Turner:D

Watching Footballers Wives used to be one of my guilty pleasures but it kind of lost its way after series 3 - I'm not suprised that its finally been axed (although I hear that the US is making its own version soon). My favourite character was Hazel Bailey ... I think it was when she left actually that the show went down hill.

On a sidenote, I read somewhere that the creators of Desperate Housewives were inspired by FW's ... I'm not sure I see how ... hmmm I guess they're a both over the top

awww i like tanya! :p

Tanya's been my favorite from the start... quite a strong woman she is. :)

But yes, the show is over-the-top... a total guilty pleasure... but at times a bit unbelievable.

Brilliant, brilliant, bloody brilliant show! Except, I haven't watched any eps since they started running "Over Time". I prefer the original.

I got through the first three seasons. Why aren't the following on DVD yet?
