There was this interview where she was asked if it was true that Bob Dylan wouldn't perform while he was in Paris unless he met Françoise first... she confirmed that it was true. But she wouldn't want to see him again and would rather leave him with the image he had of her in the sixties because she felt like a cripple. The audience laughed with her because she was so modest!

US VOGUE can be so forgettable and 'not this again'! but Nostalgia is one of the few features i look forward to reading every month. reading this reminds me of the very reasons why VOGUE is so great and influential and that fashion does matter!

come to think of it, i think this very Nostalgia introduced me to the world of Francoise Hardy! who would have thunk it. i'm very indebted to them and Nicolas.
