I thought she was amongst the worst dressed. Her dress reminded me of ice-skaters costumes, the colour wasn't flattering and it was just too much. I also really, really hated her hair and make-up. Like someone said, the Bafta look was so much better

I think she's a beautiful beautiful girl, but yeah...was not really fan of her Oscar dress. Ah well!

i don't get the fascination with Frieda she's very average and so is her style

I heard that she has a film coming up with Woody Allen. She said it in her interview with Meredith Vera.

Seriously?:woot: I was worried that she wouldn't get anything after this but a movie with Woody Allen is pretty darn good.

i've loved most of her dresses that she has worn thus far but........the oscars dress disappointed me.....i though it was some kind of practical joke......it looks like something my 60 year old mom would wear

Excuse me but her Oscar dress is hideous. Is she on the worst dressed list ? I wouldn't be suprised

I loved the bottom part of her dress, but I really didn't like the top half. I'm disappointed lol - I was expecting her to look fabulous!

Wow - that's awesome that she got a part in the Woody Allen film. Wonder how big her role will be?

She's always looking at Dev adoringly. It's cute.

She looked stunning last night
I loved the color on her, it was an amazing compliment to her skin tone.

her dress was my favorite. I'm not at all into the fairy princess ballgown thing. for instance last year Marion Cotillard's dress was pretty much the only one I liked.

Freida features in the March edition of Cosmopolitan India wearing a Christian Dior Spring 2009 strapless dress.

Freida, Dev and Danny were on Oprah today. Did anyone see them?

she is insanely beautiful, in that angelina jolie/olivia palermo/kristin kreuk way. her face is perfect.

while i can see why some would say her dress wasn't the best choice, i commend her going with a look that was a bit more ethnic and unique. if she had gone for another "dreamy"/dime-a-dozen-at-the-oscars dress like the one she wore at BAFTAs, or a more fitted/structured dress, i would fear she was falling into that slump of easy/always wearing "what works for her"/predictable territory. plus she totally rocked the royal blue. it's always refreshing when one has an established "look" (which she cemented so quickly!) yet she strays a bit from what is an easy, expected choice.

i love that this girl is so enthusiastic and down to earth. it's really refreshing.

A bit 'ethnic' I mean, really? Wearing a nicer dress i.e. more flattering and in general easier on the eye like the Oscar De La Renta wouldn't negate her ethnicity. We can all see that she's Indian, it doesn't need to be the only thing there is about her. It was an ugly dress and a garish colour and she could have looked amazing, I don't know why she settled for something so awkward

when i first saw her i thought she was hispanic and even when watching slumdog i thought she was still pretending to be indian. lol
i've never seen an indian like her before, but anyways i like her and think she's pretty.

Ricketish, I actually thought she was Latina too (and I'm part Indian and have a trace of Latin ancestry myself). She looks either Puerto Rican or South American to me. I have a friend who's half Puerto Rican and half Bolivian that looks almost exactly like Freida, except she's slightly fairer.

Anyway, here's a cute pic of her and Dev for all those that want them to be a couple (like me:heart:)

Found this confimation of her next role. I also heard that Naomi Watts will also be starring in a Woody Allen film which also starts filming this summer wonder if its the same one. I look forward to see what films both Freida and Dev do after 'Slumdog' :flower:

Model-turned-actress Freida Pinto will follow her movie debut in Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire with a role in legendary filmmaker Woody Allen's next picture.
The 24-year-old was stunned when the Danny Boyle-directed film took home eight honours - including Best Picture and Best Director - at the Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday.
And the young star has credited Boyle with helping her to catch the eye of three-time Oscar winner Allen, who's made huge stars out of young Hollywood actresses, including Scarlett Johansson.
Asked of the collaboration on morning news programme Today, she says: "Yes, it's up (begins) in July. So thank you, Danny Boyle, for helping me take off."
