I don't think his being "unattractive" is the main or only reason they aren't together anymore. I'm sure there are a lot of reasons, and maybe he is some of them. The fact that they kept this marriage a secret says a lot to me, and until we know the whole story, it's too easy to assume.

I don't think his looks have as much to do with why she dumped him as people say. I think there is more to the story than they let on. Why would her being married matter to her career? Doesn't sound right? Something stinks and I think it's the fishies

I agree with this. I'm kinda surprised by the negative response to her looks/appearance. She certainly isn't the only pretty woman out there, but I do think she's ONE of them.

Well, since she's only been in one movie, I won't judge her acting just yet. As for her looks, there are a lot of "average" looking people who have made A-List in Hollywood. Jennifer Aniston is nothing special IMO, nor are a lot of the people we "fawn" over. So, she's in good company. But I really don't care about stuff like that! I think she'll do what she's supposed to.

I definitely agree with your bolded. Something I notice about her too is that she really, really embraces the publicity she's getting. She basks in the "limelight." I think that irritates a lot of people. On one hand, I can understand, b/c they feel like it's "Freida overload." It seems like she's everywhere now. But at the same token, in terms of her career, if she doesn't take all the opportunities, she may feel like she will miss out.

I can't hate on her ambition, b/c as she said in several interviews, this is what she always wanted. And maybe she's one who is willing to do WHATEVER to become an actress. And even though we can see that in her publicly, there are a lot of people we fawn over who are like that behind closed doors. They don't call it the casting couch for nothing. Trust and believe there's a very competitive spirit in Hollywood, and there are a lot more Freida's out there, you just may not know who they are!

I agree with this. I remember people got irritated with Beyonce when she said she wanted to win an Oscar. Obviously, it hasn't happened yet, but people said she should just focus on her career.

I think there's nothing wrong with admitting to wanting something, but I can see why people feel Freida overload. But, if she doesn't take all these opportunities now, she may lose out on them. And if many of us were in her shoes, we would probably do the same thing.

truer word haven't been said Harumi. She's a bloody actress, did we expect her not to have ambition or not want to be famous. Fame = bigger role = loads of money. So, I fail to see what's wrong with that in this industry?
