There is a rumour in the Britsih press via a French newspaper (supposedly connected to the president) that they got engaged at Christmas. That's quick since they've only been dating a few weeks but I suppose there's a massive governmental headache dealing with a modern long term presidential girlfriend and you'd end up getting treated as an official public mistress for want of more modern protoctal.
