Apparently she was speaking at some event about France's demographics and strong birth rate, and added something like "even the President's wife is contributing / doing it, better even".

At least she hasn't lost her sense of humor malgré tout, that can only be a good thing!

I seriously doubt this is the reason. It's more likely a media hype buildup or some similar technique from his advisers.
She's starting to essentially exhibit that she's actually *showing* already. Tons of her pictures from the G8 in pregnancy attire in the french media today.

I think Daliah is a nice name, I mean it´s kinda oldish but it could grow on everybody... it´s old fashioned and sweet....at least it´s a name not a city or a fruit.

We´ll have to see if Daliah is really the name....some days ago they said she had a boy named Vadim so....it could be a lie too...

Well, his sons are not ugly looking , not necessarily my cup of tea but still..so the man can produce pretty children too

By the way, the name Dalia(h) has not been confirmed yet actually it's just a rumour. I've heard a lot of other names too (Elvire, Elsa, etc..)
