Frida Aasen

I like her look at Just Cavalli, and I see a bit of Claudia in her as well, she's such doll. I wasn't sure how I felt about her, she kind of intrigued me at Prada last season but then I wasn't really impressed with her other work but her latest runway appearances prove me wrong, she's got smth special about her and definitely looks good on the catwalk, she looks better with some classy and and more feminine styling tho

And the mystery continues. How on earth can the casting directors have this fantastic girl with a unique and special face and a killer body in their castings and not book her? It truly baffles me. She has looked sensational at the 3 shows she has booked.

I am clinching to the hope that Frida is one of those girls who starts out very slow on the runway, but does great in print, in spite of that (Meghan Collison, anyone? No further comparison intended). Let's hope Women Milan does something for her print-wise, because Joy Models could have booked her the 3 shows she done during these 5 days of Milan.

definitely no comparison with Meghan Collison as this girl is undeniably beautiful. I'm thinking maybe her look just isn't in at the moment, she is maybe too much of a head-turner walking down the runway, especially in the current sea of brunettes

I was thinking the same too. I don't see a lot of obviously beautiful girls like her at the moment.

I guess she would have become bigger if she has started modelling around 2005, when the pouty, innocent, dollish look - a look I personally like a lot more than rough & edgy - was in. Or maybe even a couple of years later, in the same league as Elianne Smit, a model working quite well back then (in some ways they are quite similar). Maybe she's too late.

I dunno about her HF success, but I can bet my house that this girl will land Guess? campaign in the near future. What a Barbie!

I had been thinking the exact same thing until I saw her at Blumarine. I obviously think that she is incredibly beautiful, but in my opinion she is pretty plain on the runway. I don't know, maybe she is just nervous (and I can understand) but maybe that is the reason she's not getting booked.

She has such a bobblehead look on the runway -- big head, shorter neck, model figure. She's quite hit or miss to me.
